Studies show that 15-20% of GLP-1 users experience heartburn or acid reflux as side effects. If you are using the "Ozempic pill", marketed as Rybelsus, timing is important. Take the Rybelsus on an empty stomach with 4 ounces of water or less. Wait 30 minutes before using Tums, to avoid decreased absorption. Timing is not important with Ozempic in the injectable form.
